Japan hosts multiple sake tasting events in Tokyo and Yokohama

Several sake-focused events are scheduled to take place in Japan, highlighting various breweries and regional styles.

In Shibuya, Tokyo, the “SAKE PARK” event will be held at MIYASHITA PARK from November 13 to 15. The event aims to promote Japanese sake culture globally by gathering breweries and craft sake producers from across the country, from Hokkaido to Nagasaki. Attendees can interact with producers to learn about pairings and brewing methods. The program includes a music component titled “Music For SAKE” featuring traditional folk music influences, alongside food offerings designed to complement the alcohol.

In Yokohama, the KISSYO SELECT Kamiooka store at Keikyu Department Store will host a tasting event titled “Meeting with Brewers and Sake” on November 28. This event features 50 varieties of sake, including seasonal and popular brands from breweries such as Mutsu Hassen, Midorikawa, Mizubasho, Gangi, and Shichida. Special guests from the breweries are expected to participate, and food pairings will be available for purchase.
