Japan introduces seasonal tea portions and canned hot pot soups

New seasonal beverage and food products are arriving in Japan as autumn approaches. Seven-Eleven is offering Earl Grey tea portions that can be diluted with water or milk to create either iced tea or hot milk tea.

Additionally, a partnership between food company Mizkan and beverage company DyDo will introduce canned hot pot soups to vending machines and retail stores starting October 26. These products, based on the popular Shimenabe brand, include a Sesame Soy Milk flavor and a Scallop and Clam seafood flavor. Both varieties are prepared in an azosu style, containing rice to serve as a drinkable snack. The cans are priced at 160 yen.
