Japan launches 2026 beer festivals in Osaka and Utsunomiya

The KITT E Osaka complex in Osaka will host the "Sake Travel Night Market" from August 7‑16, 2026, offering a tasting of up to 300 varieties of craft beer and Japanese sake. The event costs ¥2,500 per person, limits attendance to about 350 visitors per day, and includes a ¥1,000 food‑voucher usable at participating restaurants.

Utsunomiya City will hold its first "Utsunomiya Oktoberfest Light" from August 7‑11, 2026, at Orion Square. The free‑entry festival will feature more than 60 German beers, including imports from CAMBA, Kronbaugh and Carmelit, alongside traditional German food and live music performances.
