Japan marks Respect for the Aged Day with surveys and retail events

In observance of Respect for the Aged Day on September 21, various Japanese entities are hosting activities and promotions.

Anime! Anime! has launched a reader survey to identify the ‘ideal elderly character’ in anime, games, and manga. The survey, which accepts free-form responses regarding specific characters and series, is open until September 16.

Meanwhile, the Daimaru Suma store is hosting a pop-up event for Relive Wear from September 9 to September 22. The event features functional clothing, such as the Relive Shirt Core, designed to support ease of movement and blood circulation, positioned as gift options for the holiday.
