Japan Rail Fair 2026 to feature regional food and culture

The Japan Rail Fair 2026 (TGRF 2026) is scheduled to take place from October 15 to 17, 2026. Themed ‘Journey into Culture’, the free admission event will feature interactive booths from travel companies, Japanese brands, and regional food and drink providers.

Food highlights include Hirosaki City apple pie and Hokkaido City snack giveaways on the opening day. Attendees can sample Hokkaido dairy products from Yotsuba Milk Products, fresh Japanese pears from JR Fruits Park Sendai ARAHAMA, and wasabi-flavored snacks from the Izu Peninsula. The fair will also offer premium Japanese alcohols, such as Rokuji sake, and professionally prepared fugu from Yamaguchi Prefecture.
