Japan reports two recent vehicle collisions, one fatal
Two separate road accidents occurred in Japan within a day. On June 30, a collision between two light vehicles in Miyagi's Miyagino Ward caused one vehicle to overturn, injuring a woman in her 30s with a bleeding arm; she survived without life‑threatening injuries. Police are investigating the cause.
The following day, a three‑vehicle crash on the Tohoku Expressway near Tochigi City resulted in the death of a 46‑year‑old woman after her vehicle slipped on wet pavement and was struck by a sedan. Three other occupants, a man and two women, sustained minor injuries. Authorities are also examining the circumstances of this incident.
