Japan RV Association certifies 12 new RV Parks nationwide

The Japan RV Association has certified 12 new “RV Parks,” specialized paid facilities designed to provide safe and comfortable overnight stays for campers and travelers using motorhomes or personal vehicles. As of late August, there are now over 686 certified locations across Japan, often situated near hot springs, roadside stations, or amusement parks.

New facilities include “RV Park Ezosumika Asahikawa” in Hokkaido, which offers views of rural landscapes and an on-site cafe, and “Rokoro no Yu Tenku RV Park” in Fukushima, which features mineral baths overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Other additions include “RV Park SUWA Glass no Sato” in Nagano.

One featured location, “RV Park Aquaignis Sendai” in Miyagi Prefecture, provides amenities such as 24-hour restrooms, water, free electricity, and Wi-Fi. The site allows for activities like BBQ and bonfire use and offers discounted access to the adjacent “Fujitsuka no Yu” natural hot spring.
