Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association to host Chiba seminar

The Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association will host a seminar titled ‘Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Chiba’ on October 1, 2026, at the Chiba City Lifelong Learning Center.

The event aims to address the information gap facing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling with rising labor and raw material costs. According to the association, only 5.5% of SMEs currently utilize available government and local subsidies. The seminar will provide practical knowledge on identifying eligible systems and navigating the application process.

Topics include subsidies for digital transformation and AI implementation, wage increases, equipment investment, and reducing recruitment costs. The seminar is free to attend.
