Japan Tobacco launches redesigned Ploom CUBE device

Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced the launch of a redesigned heated tobacco device, the ‘Ploom CUBE’, featuring a compact, rounded design with a matte texture. The new device is available in two colors: Pebble White and Cobalt Black, and offers customization through various front panels and fabric back covers.

In conjunction with the device launch, JT is releasing the ‘EVO Cacao Mint Crystal’ tobacco stick nationwide following its top ranking in a consumer popularity poll.

To celebrate these releases, JT will host a themed pop-up experience titled ‘THE SMOKING LOUNGE SHIBUYA by Ploom CUBE’ at or MIYASHITA PARK from October 1 to October 12, 2026. The event will feature interactive content, art by face oka, and a ‘VIP CACAO CAFÉ’ in collaboration with the bakery café ‘Pan to Espresso to Machiawase’ to showcase the new flavor.
