Overview

Japan Tobacco (JT) is updating its Ploom CUBE heated tobacco device with a redesigned, compact, and rounded matte-textured model. The new design includes two color options, Pebble White and Cobalt Black, and offers customization through various front panels and fabric back covers.

As part of the rollout, JT is discontinuing several previous color variations. The company is also releasing the ‘EVO Cacao Mint Crystal’ tobacco stick nationwide following its high ranking in a consumer popularity poll. To support the launch, JT is hosting a themed pop-up experience titled ‘THE SMOKING LOUNGE SHIBUYA by Ploom CUBE’ at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya from October 1 to October 12, 2026.
