Japanese businesses launch Silver Week dining promotions

Various Japanese establishments are launching special promotions to coincide with the upcoming Silver Week holidays.

Fujiya Restaurant will hold a lottery campaign at 28 locations across Japan, including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki, Osaka, and Hyogo. Starting September 19, 2026, customers dining in-store can participate in a lottery for every 3,000 yen spent. Prizes include 1,000 yen meal vouchers, mini soft-serve ice cream, and free drink bar coupons. The campaign is available while supplies last.

In Gifu, the seafood izakaya Kirakuni. Gifu Tamamiya is hosting a daytime drinking campaign. During the holiday period, between 12:00 and 16:00, the establishment will offer draft beer for 149 yen per glass and an all-you-can-drink option for 999 yen. The drink menu includes beer, highballs, sours, sake, shochu, cocktails, and soft drinks.
