Japanese chocolate brands launch seasonal limited-edition menus

Several chocolate brands in Japan are launching seasonal products and collaborations. Pierre Marcolini is releasing an autumn collection starting September 1, 2026, to commemorate its 25th anniversary in Japan. The collection, themed ‘Merci de tout Cœur’, features ingredients such as white miso from Fukushima, yuzu from Tokushima, and chestnut. Available items include macarons, ganache inspired by Japanese raw chocolate, and seasonal cafe items like chestnut and caramel parfaits at specific Fukuoka locations.

Additionally, the chocolate brand meiji THE Cacao has partnered with the Tokyo-based specialty coffee shop Peak by SWELL COFFEE ROASTERS. Through August 31, 2026, the collaboration offers two summer-limited items: ‘THE Cacao MINT’, a chocolate drink with mint syrup, and a brownie made with ‘Fruity Cacao’ chocolate. These products are designed to highlight the natural fruitiness of the cacao without the use of artificial fragrances.
