Japanese cities host free summer community concerts and festivals

The city of Itami in Hyōgo Prefecture will hold a free, open‑seating concert on July 19 at Kirara Hall’s multipurpose hall. The event, dubbed the "3rd Announce Summer Concert," features performances by Music Fields, the Bolero Sweet Band, and the Announce Harp Orchestra, with guest appearances by school wind ensembles from Aramaki and Tennoji River junior high schools.

In Shinshiro, Aichi Prefecture, a free "3rd Shinshiro Community Festival" is scheduled for September 12 at the Shinshiro Cultural Center and surrounding plazas. The festival offers a mix of activities such as tea‑ceremony experiences, behind‑the‑scenes tours of the main hall, bingo, food trucks, a marketplace, and playground equipment, all with no admission fee.
