Japanese community festivals scheduled for September 2026

Several community festivals are scheduled for September 2026 in Japan.

In Kasukabe, the ‘Showa ja Night 2026’ will take place on September 13 at Residential Park SHOWA from 15:00 to 20:00. Organized by the Showa Commerce and Industry Association Youth Division, the event features approximately 20 food stalls offering items such as Asian cuisine, yakisoba, and sweets. The program also includes performances by local kids' dance teams.

In Shibuya, the ‘SHIBUYA MIYASHITA PARK BON DANCE 2026’ is set for September 26 and 27 at the Miyashita Park lawn. This fourth annual event aims to blend Shibuya culture with traditional Japanese festivals. The program includes Bon Odori dancing, DJ sets, live music, and a specialized market area. Local merchants will provide various food and drink options, and meal vouchers will be distributed for use at nearby restaurants.
