Japanese confectionery brands announce new product launches

Several confectionery brands are launching new products in the Japanese market.

Godiva has released its ‘Double Grape Chocolicious’ frozen drink nationwide. This flavor, which previously gained popularity at a special event in Osaka, combines Nagano Purple and Shine Muscat grapes with chocolate.

Montwar, in collaboration with Tirol Choco, is introducing a series of snacks inspired by the ‘Kinako Mochi’ flavor. The lineup includes popcorn, cream-filled biscuits, and rice crackers. The popcorn will see a pre-release at Seven-Eleven on September 7, 2026, followed by a wider release in supermarkets on September 21.

Nissin Cisco is also debuting ‘Crisp Choco Fragrant Caramel’ on September 7, 2026. This product features thin cornflakes coated in burnt caramel-flavored chocolate.
