Japanese food companies launch Halloween seasonal promotions

Various Japanese food companies are launching seasonal promotions for Halloween.

Nipponichi has announced a limited-time Halloween fair featuring special items such as ‘obake tsukune’ (ghost meatballs) for 194 yen. The promotion is available at most Nipponichi, Karaage Nipponichi, and Ichidori locations, excluding specific stores like Kashima and Ryugasaki.

Meanwhile, fish paste manufacturer Kanesada is releasing a series of ‘horror-cute’ arrangement recipes via its official Instagram. These recipes utilize products like ‘Taizukushi Beni’ and ‘Okazu Ichiba Uzuramaki’ to create visually striking Halloween-themed foods, such as ghosts, mummies, and eyeballs, designed for easy preparation in home meals or lunch boxes.
