Japan venues announce autumn and Halloween seasonal events

Various Japanese venues are launching seasonal autumn and Halloween-themed events and dining experiences for 2026.

Mercure Yokosuka will host its ‘Autumn Harvest Fair 2026’ at its Bistro Bourgogne restaurant. The event features half-buffet lunches with seasonal ingredients like mushrooms, chestnuts, and ginkgo, alongside a specialized afternoon tea service featuring Muscat grapes and chestnuts.

Hotel Kintetsu Universal City is introducing a ‘Colorful Pop Halloween’ dinner buffet from September 1 to November 8. The menu includes Halloween-themed dishes such as squid ink pasta, pumpkin and mushroom pizza, and various monster-themed desserts.

Gunma Flower Park Plus will hold its ‘Autumn Harvest Fair’ from September 5 to October 10. Highlights include a garden featuring over 100,000 cosmos flowers and a ‘Cosmos Autumn Bouquet Garden’ where visitors can pick flowers. The park will also host an ‘Art & Culture Week’ in mid-September, featuring live painting, music experiences, and a Moomin-themed event.
