Japanese luxury hotels announce seasonal culinary events

Several luxury hotels in Japan are launching seasonal culinary offerings and themed dining events.

Strings Hotel Nagoya is introducing a limited-time ‘Adult Reward Parfait’ featuring Japanese chestnut (waguri) and grapes, available from September 11 to November 12, 2026. At Hotel New Otani Osaka, the SATSUKI LOUNGE will host a sweets buffet from September 3 to October 8, 2026, highlighting autumn ingredients such as sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin.

The Westin Tokyo has opened reservations for its 2027 New Year ‘Osechi’ three-tier luxury food boxes, which combine Japanese, Cantonese, and pastry elements. Additionally, Hotel Metropolitan is hosting a ‘Nagano and Toyama Fair’ from October 13 to November 30, 2026, showcasing regional specialties from these two prefectures, including seafood from Toyama Bay and agricultural products from Nagano.
