Chiba Urban Monorail will host the ‘Chiba Monorail Festival 2026’ on October 17 at the Chiba Urban Monorail Vehicle Depot. The event is free to enter and runs from 10:00 to 15:00, though it may be canceled in the event of bad weather.

Tosa Kuroshio Railway will hold the ‘Gomen-Nahari Line Train Fest 2026’ on October 11 at the Aki Vehicle Depot. The event includes a Railway Day commemorative ceremony, volunteer awards, a photo contest presentation, and various activities such as vehicle coupling demonstrations, underfloor inspections, car washing experiences, and character shows. In conjunction with the local Kochi East Coast Gourmet Festival, special discounted train services and additional carriages will be available between Kyujomae and Aki stations.
