Japanese food industry launches seasonal menus and dining promotions
Various Japanese food and hospitality businesses are launching seasonal menus and promotional campaigns.
Steak no Asakuma is offering a 50% increase in portion sizes for sirloin, tenderloin, and rump steaks at original prices on August 29 and 30. Similarly, the lamb specialty chain Ram-chan is providing a 45% increase in portion sizes for select items through August 30. Yakiniku no Watami is running a campaign through August 29 featuring discounted beef tongue and beer.
In the hospitality sector, Kamenoi Hotel Tazawako will host an autumn buffet from September 1 to November 30, featuring regional specialties like Akita Hinai chicken and wild game. Mita Seimenjo is introducing a seasonal niboshi (dried sardine) dipping noodle menu starting September 1.
Other retail promotions include JA Town's meat day sale on August 29, Jyu Jyu Karubi's discounted buffet for elementary students through September 6, and Shabu-shabu Onya's vegetable day campaign offering 831 yen discounts on buffet courses.
