Japanese restaurant chains launch large-scale seasonal menus

Major Japanese hamburger chains are launching large-scale limited-time menu items in October 2026.

Bikkuri Donkey has announced its tenth annual ‘Gulliver!’ fair, starting October 7. The promotion features oversized menu items, including a ‘Monster Gulliver Hamburg Dish’ which contains two cheese burgers and significantly larger portions of rice and salad compared to standard servings. Other offerings include a 30cm tall chocolate parfait and various ‘Gulliver-sized’ sides and drinks. Additionally, the restaurant is introducing seasonal sweet potato desserts.

Burger King is also releasing new seasonal burgers starting October 2. The ‘Big Mouth Guilty’ series includes the ‘Double Beef & Bacon’ and the ‘Beef & Double Hash,’ both featuring a special garlic sauce made from garlic paste, fried garlic, and garlic powder. The beef and hash brown options are designed for consumers seeking intense garlic and meat flavors.
