Japanese retailers launch high-performance gaming PCs with RTX 5080

Several Japanese computer retailers and brands are launching high-performance gaming PC models featuring next-generation hardware.

Seven R Japan, through its PC Shop SEVEN, announced a 24-hour sale on September 10 featuring 10 different models with discounts of up to 77,000 yen. Notable configurations include the ZEFT R61XC, which utilizes an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. Other sale items include models equipped with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus.

Simultaneously, Thirdwave has released three new desktop PC models under the GALLERIA brand to commemorate its exhibition at Tokyo Game Show 2026. These high-end machines are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards and prices start from 549,980 yen. The lineup includes models featuring the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, designed for both gaming and creative professional workloads.
