Japanese retailers launch summer discount campaigns

Lawson Store 100 stores across Japan are running a “buy one, get one free” promotion from June 24 to June 30, offering a free voucher for a 500 ml Mitsuya Special‑浓 orange squash with the purchase of an Asahi Sō or “Meal‑fat this bottle” beverage. The voucher can be redeemed between June 24 and July 7, and the chain also runs bundled‑purchase discounts on lunchboxes, Nissin meals, Glico Pretz and various noodle‑soup products through early July.

Support Net LLC, a Japanese convenience‑service franchise, announced a senior‑focused discount campaign that halves the service fee for customers aged 65 and older and reduces franchisee fees from ¥10,000 to ¥5,000. The offer runs from June 22 to September 28 and is intended to broaden access to its household‑task services nationwide.
