Japanese retailers Origin and Lawson introduce new half‑price and budget bento items

Origin Bento & Kitchen Origin is running a half‑price promotion on its Chinese spring rolls from 22 June to 28 June 2026. The 12‑ingredient rolls, normally 108 yen each, are sold for 54 yen (including tax) during the sale, which does not apply to stores of Aeon, Daiei, Kasumi, and Maxvalu.

Lawson Store 100 launched three new items in its “Only Bento” series on 24 June 2026: Ham Egg, Napolitan and Chicken Soboro, each priced at 322 yen (including tax). The retailer also highlighted its three‑tier pricing of 298 yen, 398 yen and 498 yen for various bento lines and ran a coupon campaign from 24 June to 7 July offering a 50‑yen discount on the next purchase of a bento.
