Japanese summer festivals scheduled in Shiba and Tottori for 2025‑2026

The Shiba district will hold its annual summer festival on 25 July 2025. Organized by the Shiba商店会, the event will feature food stalls, a free shaved‑ice giveaway (limited to 800 servings for children), and a special outdoor professional wrestling show called “Pro‑Wrestling Evening” with participants such as Ajay Kong and Chris Vice.

In Tottori Prefecture, the Kaigara Festival is set for 1 August 2026 in Hamamura Tourist Road and Yasaho Park. The multi‑hour programme includes a food‑stall village, the traditional Kaigara‑bushi dance, a children’s boat‑stall parade, guest performances, and a final stage act by folk duo "Kami‑Fūsen". Both festivals aim to showcase local culture and attract families and visitors.
