Tokyo’s Chofu City will host the "Edo Bon Odori 2026" on July 18‑19 at the Edō Hall plaza. Organized by the youth association, the two‑day event will feature drum performances, traditional dancing, and food stalls such as shaved ice and yakitori, with safety fencing surrounding the venue.

In Shiga Prefecture, the town of Gōko will hold the "Gokoso Town Walk" on September 27, including the "Era Picture Scroll Parade" where participants dress in Meiji‑Taishō period costumes. The parade fee is ¥3,000 for adults (¥1,000 for children), with a deadline for applications on August 17.
