Japanese universities host educational fairs in Brazil

Educational fairs are being held in Brazil to promote academic opportunities and exchange programs in Japan. In São Paulo, Japan House is hosting a free event on September 5 in partnership with the Consulate General of Japan and the 'Study in Japan' project. The fair offers lectures on the Japanese language, information on scholarships, and direct contact with representatives from institutions such as Kyoto University of Advanced Sciences, Kokugakuin University, the University of Osaka, Yokohama National University, Okayama University, Nagoya University of Economics, and the University of Tsukuba.

In Rio de Janeiro, the 'Study in Japan' project is conducting activities on August 31 and September 1 at Uerj, UFRJ, and Escola Eleva. These sessions allow students interested in undergraduate or postgraduate studies to consult with representatives from eight Japanese universities, including Aichi Prefectural University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. The initiative aims to demonstrate that Japan is a viable destination for full university degrees, with courses offered in both English and Japanese.
