Japanese academic exchange programs in Brazil
Overview
Educational fairs are being held in Brazil to promote academic opportunities and exchange programs in Japan. In Rio de Janeiro, the ‘Study in Japan’ project is conducting activities at Uerj, UFRJ, and Escola Eleva on August 31 and September 1, allowing students to consult with representatives from eight Japanese universities.
Additionally, Japan House is hosting a free event in São Paulo on September 5 in partnership with the Consulate General of Japan. This fair will offer lectures on the Japanese language and information on scholarships, providing direct contact with various institutions including Kyoto University of Advanced Sciences, the University of Osaka, and the University of Tsukuba. The initiative aims to present Japan as a viable destination for full university degrees, with courses available in both English and Japanese.
