Corporate assistance has intensified. TSMC donated ¥2.5 billion and its Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing plant resumed full operation. Hitachi Group contributed ¥50 million of relief supplies, and Sony Group pledged ¥50 million through its disaster‑relief fund. Beverage companies such as Coca‑Cola Bottlers Japan, Asahi Group, Suntory and Kirin delivered thousands of bottles of water and installed 400 circulating‑shower units. Other firms provided spot‑coolers, air‑conditioners, well water, EV‑charging stations and infrastructure repairs.

The Local Government DX Promotion Council launched a disaster‑support matching portal to connect private‑sector resources with municipal needs, streamlining aid delivery. Medical teams from Toyama Prefecture and a dome‑type housing unit for police officers have also been deployed. Insured loss estimates from Verisk’s Catastrophe and Risk Solutions group place total insured damage between ¥220 billion and ¥340 billion (≈US$1.4‑2.1 billion).
