Japan's TV show and app launch new merchandise for upcoming festivals

Hokkaido Television announced a second wave of goods for the 30th‑anniversary "水曜どうでしょうUNITE2026" on July 8. The lineup features a collaboration with local sake brand 大法螺, T‑shirts, tenugui towels, waist‑wraps, socks, reversible cushions, key‑chain mascots, reflector‑badge key‑rings and other items, all limited‑edition and sold at the September 4‑6 event in Sapporo's Dome venue.

Separately, the mobile app "ちいかわぽけっと" will take part in three major summer festivals – Aomori's Nebuta Matsuri, Sendai's Tanabata Matsuri and Tokushima's Awa Odori – during August 2026. Festival attendees can receive a free "ちいぽけ夏うちわ" fan by showing the app, and purchase exclusive summer‑themed merchandise such as stickers, pouches, hand‑kerchiefs and other memorabilia. A special "ちいぽけねぶた" float will lead the Nebuta procession, and a "ちいぽけ展望台" photo spot will be installed at the Awa Odori venue.
