Jared Kushner's Albanian investment faces scrutiny over ties to suspected trafficker

Investigations into investments by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in Albania have raised concerns regarding their business connections. Reports indicate that Albania Land Development, a company represented by the Trump family, reportedly transferred approximately $125 million to accounts held by Artur Shehu to acquire land for a development project in Zvërnec.

Artur Shehu is identified as a controversial figure under investigation by European services and the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) in Albania. He is suspected of involvement in drug trafficking and laundering cocaine proceeds from Latin America through Albania. The connection between the Kushner family's business plans and a person suspected of criminal activity has drawn scrutiny toward the oversight provided by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
