Javier Milei faces increasing isolation at Olivos residence

Argentine President Javier Milei has reportedly become increasingly isolated at the Olivos presidential residence. Following a trip to Colombia, Milei spent ten days in seclusion, leading to speculation regarding his health and political activity. While the government suggested the seclusion was to complete a theological book, observers noted physical signs of discomfort, such as difficulty walking.

Data regarding access to the presidential residence indicates a significant decrease in contact with government officials. During the first half of the year, Milei met with cabinet members or the General Secretary of the Presidency at a frequency of approximately once every 6.25 days. Records show that spokesperson Manuel Adorni visited the residence nine times during the first semester, while Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno visited at least six times.

Notably, the President's sister and General Secretary, Karina Milei, has had limited physical presence at the residence, visiting only twice between January and June. This pattern of reduced interaction with the cabinet and a lack of frequent visits to the Casa Rosada has raised questions about the current management and internal dynamics of the administration.
