Javier Milei Leads National Polls Ahead of Axel Kicillof
A recent CB Global Data survey covering 24 Argentine provinces compared the positive image ratings of President Javier Milei and Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof. Milei led in 16 provinces while Kicillof led in eight. Milei’s positive image ranged from 53.1% in Córdoba to 32% in Santa Cruz; Kicillof’s ranged from 21% in Córdoba to 28% in the city of Buenos Aires. The study noted a narrower gap than in February but still a clear national advantage for Milei.
An independent Explanans online poll of 7,015 respondents found Milei would secure 38.2% of the vote in a first‑round election, with Kicillof at 28%. In a hypothetical runoff, Kicillof would narrowly edge Milei, 43.8% to 42.9%, a technical tie.
