Javier Milei meets with LLA legislators to coordinate legislative strategy

President Javier Milei held a strategic meeting at Casa Rosada with La Libertad Avanza (LLA) deputies and senators to coordinate the government's legislative agenda ahead of critical sessions in Congress.

The primary objectives for the upcoming sessions in the Chamber of Deputies include the reform of the Central Bank's Organic Charter, which aims to prohibit financing the national deficit with money printing, and the 'Inocencia Fiscal II' project, designed to encourage the formalization of foreign currency. Additionally, the Senate is set to debate various international treaties and over 60 judicial appointments.

During the meeting, Milei reaffirmed his administration's economic direction and urged legislators to defend the principles of liberty against populist opposition. He also addressed concerns regarding rising household debt and delinquency, advising lawmakers to focus on data-driven arguments. To reinforce these economic principles, Milei gifted each legislator a copy of Henry Hazlitt's 'Economics in One Lesson'.

The government's strategy involves close coordination with allied blocks, including the PRO, to ensure sufficient quorum and support for these priority initiatives.
