During a meeting with business leaders at the Council of the Americas, Milei stated that his administration will not intervene in private business closures or the financial crisis affecting millions of Argentines unable to service their debts.

Milei characterized his administration as the most significant economic adjustment in human history, claiming it is driving unprecedented growth. He has expressed disdain for democratic processes, describing democracy as a “dictatorship of the majority,” and has frequently used aggressive rhetoric toward economists, journalists, and business leaders who criticize his policies.
