Javorník lookout tower to officially open on October 28

A new lookout tower at Javorník is scheduled for its official opening on October 28 at 10:00 AM. Located near the Obří sud hotel, the structure is part of the Adventure Park Liberec expansion.

The 34.6-meter-tall tower was created by converting a telecommunications mast into a viewing platform, complete with a staircase of 186 steps, resting platforms, and a viewing gallery. While the mast continues its original function, the tower provides panoramic views of Liberec, the Ještěd ridge, the Jizera and Lusatian Mountains, the Ralsko Highlands, and Bohemian Paradise.

The tower has already undergone a trial period since late September, attracting 2,223 visitors. The official opening ceremony will include a blessing, live music, wine tastings, and a regional fair.
