Jayden Oosterwolde transfer to AS Roma collapses after medical tests

The transfer of Jayden Oosterwolde from Fenerbahçe to AS Roma has collapsed following failed medical examinations in Italy. Although both clubs had reached an agreement on all terms, the deal was halted after Roma's medical staff raised concerns regarding the 25-year-old defender's physical condition.

Reports indicate a discrepancy between the clubs regarding the player's recovery timeline. While Fenerbahçe estimated a two-week recovery period, Roma's medical assessments suggested a potential tendon issue that could require more than a month of rehabilitation. Roma sought additional expert consultation from specialist Professor Lasse Lempainen to evaluate the injury, but ultimately decided not to proceed with the original transfer structure.
