Jazz festivals announced for Chiroubles and Rolle

The third edition of JazzFest’ Chiroubles is scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2026, in the Haut-Beaujolais region of France. Founded by composer Olivier Depardon, the festival aims to create a sensory experience by combining high-level jazz performances with live visual arts and local wines.

In Switzerland, the Rolle Jazz Festival is returning to the Château de Rolle from September 24 to 27, 2026. Co-founded by New York pianist Misha Piatigorsky and Vaudois flutist Xavier Paternot, the event utilizes an intimate, circular format inspired by Manhattan jazz clubs. The festival will feature international musicians from the United States, Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Greece, and will include new additions such as free outdoor concerts and a musical brunch.
