Jazz festivals in France and Switzerland

Overview

Various jazz festivals in France and Switzerland are scheduled for late 2026, emphasizing diverse musical programming and cultural experiences.

In September, the third edition of JazzFest’ Chiroubles in the Haut-Beaujolais region of France is set to combine jazz performances with visual arts and local wines. Concurrently, the Rolle Jazz Festival in Switzerland will return to the Château de Rolle, featuring an international lineup of musicians in an intimate format inspired by Manhattan jazz clubs.

By October, the Rhino Festival in France is hosting its 48th edition, showcasing influences from Africa, South America, and the Balkans through 42 concerts. Additionally, the Nancy Jazz Pulsations (NJP) festival is preparing for its next edition, maintaining a tradition of blending jazz with genres such as hip-hop, rock, and electronic music. Organizers noted the significant economic impact of the NJP festival, stating that every euro invested generates between six and eight euros in economic returns.
