Jazz music events scheduled across Dominican Republic and Chile

Various jazz music events are scheduled across the Dominican Republic and Chile throughout October.

In the Dominican Republic, performances will take place in Santo Domingo, Santiago, Sosúa, and Puerto Plata. Key events include ‘Los Lunes de Jazz’ in Santiago at Uno Siete Ocho Bar, ‘Live Jazz by the Sea’ by the Sosúa Jazz Collective in Sosúa, and the start of the Sandy Gabriel Jazz Residence at The Green Room in Santo Domingo.

In Chile, the Antofajazzta festival returns to Antofagasta after a three-year hiatus. The month-long program includes live music, masterclasses, and community meetings at the Teatro Municipal de Antofagasta and AIEP Antofagasta. The festival features the Jazz Quartet, a masterclass by Rodrigo Carmona, and a closing performance by singer Antonella Cigala, alongside local projects such as Mano de Piedra, Jazz al Palo, and Compañía Limitada.
