Jazz musicians perform in Italian summer festival series

Various jazz performances are scheduled across Italy as part of summer music series. In Civitanova, the “Fuori dal guscio” festival concludes with the Nico Gori Youth Trio at Otto Seaside. The trio, featuring Nico Gori on clarinet and saxophone, Linda Berdicchia on vocals, and Federico Frassi on piano, will perform jazz standards reinterpreted with an Italian perspective.

In Sutri, the “Tuscia in jazz for Sla” festival, in collaboration with Francigena 42, presents “Cinema Italia.” This concert features saxophonist Rosario Giuliani and accordionist Luciano Biondini, who will perform jazz improvisations based on the iconic film scores of Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota.
