Jean Hugo wins Reignwood Legends Championship in China

South African golfer Jean Hugo secured his first Staysure Legends Tour title by winning the Reignwood Legends Championship at Reignwood Pine Valley in Beijing. Hugo finished with a total of 13-under par, three shots ahead of Matthew Cort, who carded a bogey-free 69 to finish at 10-under.

Facing challenging conditions, including wind gusts reaching 40mph, Hugo maintained his lead through a final-round 71. He overcame a mid-round challenge from Stephen Gallacher, who finished in a tie for third place at 6-under.

The victory is particularly significant for Hugo, as it guarantees him full playing rights on the Staysure Legends Tour through the end of the 2027 season. This win comes in only his fifth appearance on the tour.
