Jean Hugo Staysure Legends Tour performances

South African golfer Jean Hugo achieved significant success on the Staysure Legends Tour during October 2026.

In early October, Hugo won the Reignwood Legends Championship in Beijing, China. He finished with a total of 13-under par, securing his first title on the tour and guaranteeing full playing rights through the end of the 2027 season.

Later in the month, Hugo won the inaugural Portugal Legends Championship at the Pinheirinho Golf Course in Comporta. He finished with a total of 196 strokes, 20 under par, securing a six-stroke victory over England’s Greg Owen. During the final round, Hugo set a new course record with a bogey-free 62, which included eight birdies and one eagle. This performance marked his second Staysure Legends Tour title in three starts and completed a rare triple by winning the professional tournament, the Pro-Am event, and setting the course record.

Other notable performances in Portugal included Johan Edfors, who finished third, and Cameron Clark, who secured a top-five finish. Overnight leader Paul Lawrie fell out of contention during the final round, finishing in a tie for 11th.
