Jeddah Municipality begins Prince Majid Road expansion

The Jeddah Municipality has commenced a project to develop and expand a section of Prince Majid Road. The project covers approximately 1,900 meters between the intersections of Old Makkah Road and Al-Falah Road.

The expansion will increase the road's width to 52 meters, providing four lanes in each direction for a total of eight lanes. This initiative aims to increase traffic capacity, improve flow, and enhance connectivity between residential neighborhoods and major arteries.

As a primary axis connecting northern and southern Jeddah, the road provides vital access to King Abdulaziz International Airport and various sports facilities. The project also includes rehabilitating the surrounding infrastructure and urban landscape to align with local urban developments and support the Quality of Life Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
