Jeep Cherokee 2026 Hybrid Debuts in Vietnam with Prices from $44,500

Jeep, part of Stellantis, unveiled the 2026 Cherokee hybrid SUV. The model uses a new 350 V hybrid system that pairs a 1.6‑L turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering 210 hp and 312 Nm of torque. A small 1.08 kWh battery provides an estimated 800 km range and a 0‑97 km/h acceleration time of 8.3 seconds. The vehicle sits on the STLA Large platform, measuring 4.888 m in length—about 150 mm longer than the previous generation—while offering 30 % more cargo space. Standard equipment includes ADAS Level 2 driver assistance, Uconnect 5 infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and optional features such as a 360° camera and heated/ventilated seats. The Cherokee hybrid will be sold in Vietnam through Thaco, with deliveries slated for late 2025. Pricing starts at US$44,500 for the Limited trim and US$48,000 for the Overland trim; lower‑spec models begin at US$39,000.
