Jeep expands all-electric Compass lineup with off-road 4xe model

Jeep has expanded its all-electric Compass lineup, offering various configurations of power, range, and off-road capability. The range includes an entry-level 213 HP model with a 74 kWh battery providing 500 km of range, starting at €37,990 with state subsidies. A Long Range version features a 96 kWh battery with a 660 km range, priced at €43,990 for the Altitude trim.

For high-performance off-roading, the Compass 4xe is available exclusively with the 96 kWh battery. This top-tier model utilizes dual electric motors producing a combined 375 PS. The rear motor, specifically developed for Jeep, uses a 14:1 reduction gear to deliver up to 3,100 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, allowing the vehicle to climb 20% inclines even with low front-wheel traction.

The 4xe is designed for rugged use, featuring a 10 mm higher ground clearance, a 480 mm water wading depth, and specialized approach and departure angles. Interior and exterior durability enhancements include easy-to-clean cabin materials and bumpers made of matte-painted black plastic to hide off-road scratches.
