Jeep expands electric Compass models in Europe and reports strong hybrid Renegade sales in Brazil

In Spain, Jeep unveiled two new electric versions of its Compass SUV. The Long Range model, equipped with a 96.3 kWh battery and a single front‑motor delivering 170 kW (231 hp), offers a WLTP‑rated range of up to 675 km and accelerates from 0‑100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. The 4xe version adds a dual‑motor all‑wheel‑drive system with a combined output of 276 kW (375 hp), sharing the same battery pack. Prices start at about €50 million (≈¥40 k) for the Long Range Altitude trim and rise to €59 million for the top‑spec 4xe Overland version.

In Brazil, Jeep reported a robust first half of 2026, registering 56,424 vehicles nationwide. The Compass remained the leading midsize SUV with over 27,000 units sold. The Renegade’s mild‑hybrid (MHEV) versions accounted for 48 % of Renegade registrations in the second quarter, totaling roughly 21,000 units, while the Commander grew 14 % to 8,224 units. Jeep also announced that the new Avenger, produced in Poland, will enter the Brazilian market later this year.
