Jeep introduces Cherokee Trailhawk with enhanced off-road capabilities
Jeep has reintroduced the Trailhawk designation to the Cherokee lineup, specifically engineered for enhanced off-road performance. The new model features several mechanical and aesthetic upgrades designed for demanding terrain.
Key technical improvements include a revised suspension system that provides a 25 mm lift, resulting in a ground clearance of 229 mm. The vehicle is equipped with specific springs, shock absorbers, and underbody protection to mitigate damage in rugged environments. It also features 17-inch wheels fitted with Nexen Rodian ATX all-terrain tires.
Exterior modifications include a redesigned front bumper to improve approach angles, red tow points, and anti-reflective hood treatment. The Trailhawk is capable of wading through water up to 610 mm deep and boasts improved approach, breakover, and departure angles compared to the standard Cherokee model.
