Jeep launches 2027 Renegade SUV with upgraded design and tech in South America

Jeep announced the 2027 version of its Renegade compact SUV, introducing a major redesign and new technology features. The model, built at Stellantis’ Goiana plant in Brazil, keeps the 1.3‑liter T270 turbocharged engine (175 hp, 270 Nm) paired with a six‑speed automatic in most trims and a nine‑speed unit in the flagship Willys version, which also receives 4‑wheel drive and off‑road tires.

Exterior updates include a new seven‑slot grille, revised bumpers and LED lighting, while the interior gains a 10.1‑inch Uconnect touchscreen, a 7‑inch digital instrument cluster and higher‑quality upholstery. Safety equipment now features six airbags, front‑collision alerts, lane‑keeping assistance, blind‑spot monitoring, fatigue detection and automatic emergency braking. The lineup adds the Altitude trim (replacing Sport), Night Eagle, Sahara and the top‑spec Willys, each with distinct wheel sizes and equipment.

The Renegade 2027 is now on sale in Argentina with pricing from ARS 46.34 million for the Altitude to ARS 55.9 million for the Willys, and carries a three‑year or 100,000‑km warranty.
