Jeep launches new Compass hybrid and 4xe models in Europe

Jeep has introduced a new third‑generation Compass built at the Melfi plant in Italy on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform. The model is offered with a 48‑volt e‑Hybrid powertrain that delivers 145 hp and 230 Nm of torque, and is being sold in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the same time the brand opened orders for the Compass 4xe, a plug‑in hybrid SUV with all‑wheel drive that combines two electric motors – 213 hp at the front and 180 hp at the rear – for a total output of 375 hp (276 kW). It is powered by a 96.1 kWh NMC battery that provides a WLTP‑certified range of more than 600 km. The 4xe features a ground clearance of 21 cm, a wading depth of 48 cm and rear torque up to 3 100 Nm. Two trims are available: Upland at €56 849 and Overland at €60 350. Jeep also launched a fully electric Long‑Range Compass with a 231 hp front‑wheel‑drive motor and an advertised WLTP range of 674 km.
